COVID-19 Closure

It is with a very heavy heart & honestly fear & defeat that we announce that due to new government regulations we are being forced to keep our doors closed until May 1st.
.
We are beyond heartbroken and truly at a loss for words. This business is our way of life, it is how we support our families. It’s something we’ve exponentially grown over the last 5 years. Being closed for a week was a first in First Glimpse history, but being closed 6 weeks? I’m honestly at a loss for words.
.
I understand, I get it.
•You had an appointment & we already rescheduled it once.
•You cancelled thinking your Doctor would see you sooner but now your visits are video chats.
•You wanted to bring family & have a party but now you were at least holding on to the hope that you & dad would know & you could surprise everyone else later.
• You’re very paranoid this pregnancy due to past pregnancy concerns.
• Your other children have realllyyyyy been looking forward to seeing their sibling.
.
I. Get. It. This is my full time job, all of this joy & sadness is not lost on me. So as I make these really sad & stressful calls I ask for your understanding & kindness. Yelling at me & telling me all the things IM ruining for you & hanging up on me doesn’t help.
.
I’ve truly considered working in the evenings & weekends- spreading out appointments with myself & customers wearing masks & being screened at the door, with zero visitors allowed- but then I think of your families. My family. This virus has no care for age or person. Please think of you, your baby & everyone else you come in contact with.
.
So at this time we will continue to pray for a sunrise of hope on the other side of this shocking & saddening time. The suns gonna rise on a better day & I pray to see everyone in our facility (spread out & safe) come May! I will be reaching out via email & phone calls as soon as I can. Please keep in mind I will be making almost 100 appointment phone calls, it will take some time. You can also move or cancel your appointment online as well.
Thank you for your understanding.
-God Bless,
Micah Dugas
